Each Mala is handmade by myself and will come in its own unbleached Cotton Bag

Each Mala is an individual creation by myself. No two are the same.  Some may look alike but, due to the nature of natural stone and wood, each bead is unique thus making your special creation one of a kind.
The best way to choose your Mala and its beads is by your intuition and what your heart is drawn to.

Whether you use your Mala beads to count Mantras while meditating, reflection, or a connection to the beautiful stones you have chosen or just simply to wear as your very own beautiful piece of jewellery, I hope you love and enjoy them for years to come. Ultimately, the Mala becomes what the wearer wants it to be. You fill the energy of the beads and gemstones, with your thoughts, your hopes, and dreams. Since stones and crystals absorb energy from you and your surroundings, it is recommended that you cleanse and charge your mala from time to time. You can use sage or Palo Santo to cleanse it or leave your mala out in the full moonlight.

The Maori people of New Zealand have used the Greenstone for years due to its metaphysical benefits. The most significant property of the stone is that it symbolizes the authenticity of the bonds that are shared with friends and family around us. It is said that the stone can be used as an emblem of friendship, love, and appreciation for an important loved one in your life. It is also said that the stone is quite mystical in nature, which is why it is known to bring magic into a person’s life. It is known that people believe that New Zealand Greenstone has protective powers that work very effectively to bring a person peace in any arena of life that has become chaotic and keep you safe from any dangerous forces.

Verdite is actually a trade name for a specific type of green metamorphic rock largely made up of fuchsite and fine grain clay. Fuchsite is a variety of muscovite, which is in turn part of the mica mineral group. This makes verdite closely related to other gemstones such as lepidolite. While that may sound complicated, the stone's beauty is not. The green colors of verdite are a result of chromium (that also gives emeralds their green color), though the stone can also have shades of yellow, blue-green and brown with spots or swirls. Inclusions of rutile, ruby, sapphire, quartz and tourmaline have also been found in verdite. Verdite is largely found in Zimbabwe, though the stone has also been found in other regions of South Africa.

It is said that Prehnite fosters a strong sense of trust in Universal Principles. It is said that Prehnite stops hoarding of both possessions and love by fostering a belief in the abundance and power of the Universe to manifest whatever is needed. Prehnite clears toxins from the body and balances the meridians, and helps you say no to unreasonable requests. Lucid dreaming is induced by Prehnite, while dreams are made easier to remember and nightmares are reduced.

It is said that In addition to the generic healing properties of Agateand Chalcedony, Moss Agate is a stone of new beginnings. Refreshes the soul and enables you to see beauty in all you behold. Moss Agatereduces sensitivity to weather and environmental pollutants. It attracts abundance in wealth and improves self-esteem.

A stone of transformation, Labradorite is a useful companion through change, imparting strength and perseverance.  It balances and protects the aura, raises consciousness and grounds spiritual energies.  Excellent for strengthening intuition - promoting psychic abilities.  Powerful in revealing the truth behind illusions, Labradorite banishes fears and insecurities, and strengthens faith in the self and trust in the universe.  It stimulates the imagination and calms an overactive mind, developing enthusiasm and new ideas.

The term Mala is derived from the, Sanskrit: माला; mālā, meaning 'garland' in which a string of beads is used for prayer and or meditation. These have been used by Buddhists and those with spiritual aspirations for thousands of years. Malas are typically made with 18, 27, 54 or 108 beads and it is said that Yogis and Buddhists were the first to use a Mala to enhance their spiritual practices. Also called Yoga beads, a Mala is used to keep count while repeating a “Japa which is a spiritual discipline involving the meditative repetition of a mantra or a Devine name. They Can be worn everyday around the neck or wrist to remind yourself to be mindful. Malas can be made of various different beads and gemstones and just like a Malas means more than it appears, each of the different stones have different meanings and properties. I find most people choose their special Mala by finding the one that they are most drawn to.

Hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them
Namaste
